Clifton Vernon Rowe

Clifton Vernon Rowe passed away on Sunday, February 5th, 2012, at the age of 98 years, at Providence Place with his family by his side. Vernon was born on October 11th, 1913 on the family farm. Vernon was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Marion; his parents, Frank and Lena Rowe; brother, Gordon and sister-in-law, Sylvia Rowe; sister, Alma and brother-in-law, Doug McLaren. Vernon is survived by his daughter, Elaine (Duane) Haukaas; son, Garry (Marg) Rowe; grandchildren: Randall (Liz) Haukaas, Greg (Rhonda) Haukaas, Cathy (Tom) Clark and Tana (Mike) Wourms; great-grandchildren: Beric (Lori) Haukaas, Angela (Chad) Hall, Dayna and Brad Clark; Brock and Benjamin Wourms Rowe; great-great-grandchildren: Eden, Emerson, Mercede and Drew Haukaas; his special friend, Judy Sargent; sister, Joyce (Art) Acorn and brother, Lloyd (Evelyn) Rowe. A Celebration of Vernon’s Life will be held on Wednesday, February 8th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. A private family interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery. A Time of Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Tuesday, February 7th, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Flowers are gratefully declined.
