Pierrette St. Yves

Pierrette St. Yves, aged 71 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away Saturday, August 25th, 2012 at the Regina General Hospital.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 3rd, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Church of Our Lady, 566 Vaughan St., Moose Jaw, SK.  Father Carlos Jimenez will be the presiding celebrant and a private family interment will follow at Willow Bunch Cemetery.  She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Julliette; brothers, Albert of Willow Bunch, Bernard of Assiniboia and Andre of Regina; and sister-in-law, Vivian (Bernard).  Pierrette is survived by her sisters, Gilberte (John Watchorn) of Assiniboia, SK and Jacqueline of Montreal, Quebec; brothers, Luc (Cecile) of Montreal, Quebec and Lucien (Vivanne) of Winnipeg, MB; sisters-in-law, Doris St. Yves of Gravelbourg, SK and Deloris St. Yves of Regina, SK; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Pierrette was born in Willow Bunch, SK in 1940 and received her education there.  She worked at Extendicare in Moose Jaw for a number of years and has resided at Chateau St. Michael in Moose Jaw for the last 5 years.  Pierrette was a member of Church of Our Lady.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Pierrette’s name may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Assoc., 917A Albert St., Regina, SK S4R 2P6.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Calvin Gammel, Funeral Director. 693-4550
