Ron Swain

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron on Wednesday, January 18th, 2012 at the age of 71 years. A Memorial Tea will be held on Sunday, January 22nd, 2012 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Ron was born on December 29th, 1940 in Tuxford, SK. He grew up in the Marquis area where his love for farming started on his grandparent’s farm before he settled in the Baildon area. Ron enjoyed all nature and animals, especially his horses. He cherished his time visiting everyone, in particular spending time with his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Bert and Kay Swain. Ron is survived by his brother, Laurie (Senga); sister, Lois; son, Boyd (Theresa) and daughter Victoria; son, Rob (Paula) and their children Stephanie and Pierre, Brittany and Mike, and Levi; daughter, Darla (Kevin) and children Zach, Jared and Stephanie, Luke, Kelsey, and Kale, and great-grandson Jonathon; as well as by many nieces and nephews.
