With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our dear Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother who passed away peacefully at Providence Place, Moose Jaw on Wednesday, November 13th, 2013. She was born April 3rd, 1920 in Moose Jaw to Michael and Anna Fedyk, a farming family in the Ardill area. Pauline is survived by her three children: John (Faye) of Richmond, Marian Fleece (Murray) of Moose Jaw and David (Lynn) of Victoria. Dearly loved by her grandchildren: J’nelle (Rob), John David, Joanna (Dan), Jason, Jana (Brock), Alexa and Elizabeth; and great-grandchildren: Lauren, Johnny, Matthew, Jessica, Reed, Kristopher, Samantha and Sawyer. She was predeceased by siblings: Mary Ambroz, Sylvia Sosiak, Bill and Tony Fedyk. Pauline lost her husband John in 1960 and worked to raise their family with a 23 year career, starting at the Wood River Telephone Company in LaFleche, then SaskTel in Assiniboia and Regina until her retirement in 1983. In 2006 she moved to Moose Jaw to live with Marian and Murray. Pauline loved to garden, sew blankets for the new grandkids and share her wisdom. She was proud of the results of her influence, nurture and guidance over the years. A heartfelt thanks to daughter Marian for all that she did in caring for our Mother and gratitude to the care providers at Providence Place during Pauline’s past year. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 19th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane, Moose Jaw, SK with Father Rick Krofchek officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline’s memory to the Providence Place Foundation Inc., 100 – 2nd Ave. N.E., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1B8.
