Beatrice Evelyn (Trix) Buckmaster
Beatrice Evelyn (Trix) Buckmaster (nee Morris), aged 94 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, February 9th, 2013. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 15th, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. in the Rose Room at Providence Place, 100 2nd Ave. N.E., Moose Jaw, SK. Cheryl Thul will officiate and interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery at a later date. Beatrice was born in 1919 in England and arrived in Canada on May 25th, 1925 with her parents at the age of 6. The family settled in Alberta where Mom remained until 1943 and married Bob Buckmaster. They then moved to the Brownlee area where they farmed until 1957. When Bob went to work for the CPR, they moved throughout Saskatchewan. In 1966, they moved to Moose Jaw where Mom worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Leask and then at the Dietary Department of the Moose Jaw Union Hospital, where she retired in 1985. Mom was always loving, kind and generous and loved Bingo. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Goeff and John Morris; sister, Dorothy MacAdam; as well as granddaughter, Lisa. Beatrice will be lovingly remembered by her children: Faith Case (Cornelius Topuschuk), Gayle (Arnold) Bartlett, Lance (Joan) Buckmaster, Blair Buckmaster, Shannon (Joe) Zadar and Rhonda (Dean) Smith; grandchildren: Dusti, Casey, Wade, Troy, Kara, Glenn, Nicole, Kristin, Michelle, James, Graham and Amy; as well as several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Townsend; brother, Dave Morris and several nieces and nephews. Flowers are gratefully declined.
