1923 – 2013

Terrietta Frances Dubin, aged 89 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away Monday, January 14th, 2013.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 18th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave. N.W., Moose Jaw, SK.  Father Rick Krofchek will be the presiding celebrant and interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery at a later date.  She was predeceased by her mother and father; husband, Fred; 3 sisters and 1 brother.  Terrie is survived by her children: Margaret (Richard) Helfrick, Sally Dubin, Mike Dubin and Diana (Larry “Gumby”) Gamble; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way; sister, Anne Bechtold; and several nieces and nephews.  Mom worked at Sears for many years and had many friends there.  Her greatest accomplishment was being the most wonderful mom and grandma.  She was a very non judgmental lady and a champion of the underdog.  You always felt welcome at Terrie’s place.  Special thanks to the entire caring staff of Extendicare Moose Jaw, who cared for Mom with kindness and love.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Terrie’s name may be made to the Extendicare Recreation Fund, 1151 Coteau St. W., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 5G5, Salvation Army, 175 – 1st Ave. N.E., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 0Y9 or to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director. 693-4550.
