Marie Alice Gareau

With great sadness, the family of Marie Alice Gareau announces her passing on Thursday, May 9th, 2013 at the age of 91 years.  She was predeceased by her parents, Mederic and Florida Gareau; infant sister; brothers, Phillip (Valerie) and Joseph; sister, Aurela Lapointe, and niece Helen Brown.  Alice is survived by nephews: Alfred Gareau of Florida, USA, Richard Gareau of London, ON and Omer Lapointe of 108 Mile Ranch, BC; niece, Bertha Sanftleben of Moose Jaw, SK; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 17th, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Providence Place Chapel, 100 2nd Ave. N.E., Moose Jaw, SK.  Father Rick Krofchek will be the presiding celebrant and interment will take place at St. Ignace Cemetery, Willow Bunch, SK at a later date.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  Donations in Alice’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director. 693-4550.
