Margaret Johnson

On Sunday November 3rd, 2013 Margaret Johnson passed away peacefully at Extendicare in Moose Jaw.  Margaret was born March 7th, 1939 to Reinard and Frieda Marks in Coronach, SK.  She received her education at Prairie Centre and Coronach School.  She was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Coronach, SK and Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Moose Jaw, SK.  Keith Johnson and Margaret were married April 20th, 1963 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Coronach.  They resided in Saskatoon for a couple of years and then moved back to Coronach, where they stayed until 1974 and then moved to Moose Jaw where they still reside.  Margaret worked at Excelo Photo, Bank of Nova Scotia in Moose Jaw and Saskatoon, as well as the Credit Union in both Coronach and Moose Jaw.  She retired from the Moose Jaw Credit Union in 2002.  Predeceased by her parents, Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Keith Johnson of Moose Jaw, two children, Jodie (Larry) Langford of Rockglen and Lisa Johnson of Moose Jaw; four grandchildren: Steven (Destine) Langford of Waldheim, Stephanie of Rockglen, Lisa Langford of Moose Jaw and Carlita Johnson of Moose Jaw; two great-grandchildren, Alina and Jayden Langford of Waldheim; brother, Bradley (Sue) and  their children and grand-children; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 15 Paul Dr., Moose Jaw, SK.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 9Z9.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Jeff Ofstie, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.
