Thomas Charles Kober
Thomas Charles Kober, 57, of Regina, SK passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 26th, 2013. Tom was born on October 30th, 1955 to his late mother Muriel and is survived by his father Charles. Tom grew up in Moose Jaw, SK. with his brother Randy (Colleen) and sister Carol. Tom worked for a number of years at the Sask. Wheat Pool before embarking on the journey of becoming a teacher. Tom would eventually teach in many cities and enlightened many children. When Tom wasn’t teaching he loved to travel to the Philippines’ with his best friend Dean Young, where he met his fiancé Charity Lopez. Tom had plans to retire there on the white sandy beaches surrounded by coconut palm trees. Tom enjoyed many hobbies, such as stock car racing, slo-pitch, coaching, collecting movies and TV series. But nothing was as enjoyable as spending time with, his children Crystal (John) McCubbing, Nytosha, Amy, Avery, Tiffany (Corey LaBuick) and Muriel Lopez-Kober; 10 grandchildren; as well as his numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Tom’s life will take place at Moose Jaw Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 9th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery where Tom and his mother will be laid to rest.
