Dorothy E. Manley

Dorothy E. Manley (nee Rother), aged 74 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Sunday, June 2nd, 2013.  She was born in Nipawin, SK on September 23rd, 1938 and was raised on the family farm.  Dorothy married George Manley on December 28th, 1956 and they were married for 56 years.  Dorothy started her banking career when she was 17 years old.  She retired after 30 years with the Royal Bank.  She enjoyed cooking and reading, and took great pleasure in travelling on RV trips.  She was predeceased by her parents, John and Bertha Rother.  Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, George; sons, John and Brad (Heather); daughter, Robin Yaskow; grandchildren: Cole, Kyle, Lindsey and Danielle; and sister, Lorraine.  The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 10th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director. 306-693-4550.
