Ruth Irene McIntyre
Ruth Irene McIntyre (Nee Andrews) aged 98 years of Moose Jaw and formerly of the Boharm district, passed away on Friday, January 18th, 2013. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Gary Johnson will officiate and interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Daniel (1989); son Cecil (2001); parents Horace and Annie Andrews; sisters Rosamond, Hilda, Ethellynn; brother Les; son in law Stewart Campbell (1984). Ruth is survived by her children Gloria (Sandy) Ramage, Joan Campbell, May Belle McIntyre, Cyril (Maria) McIntyre; daughter in law Pat McIntyre; sisters Bernice Austin and Violet Sapergia; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; step mother Helen Andrews; half sisters Olive, Darlene and Marilyn; half brother Ivan; sister in law Ella Willis; brother in law Sandy McIntyre; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and also family in England. Ruth was a proud member of the Prairie Hearts Quilters Guild and the Olive Branch Rebekah Lodge. She was a very active member of Timothy Eaton’s as well as the Cosmo Senior Centre. Ruth enjoyed five pin bowling, shuffle board and was an avid card player.
