DEBBY MARIE REDDICK (nee Hundeby)
It is with deep sadness and fond memories that the family of Debby Reddick announces her passing on Wednesday, December 11th, 2013. Debby was born in Central Butte, SK on July 10th, 1949 to Gordon and Ethel Hundeby. She was predeceased by her husband, Caldwell (Butch); her father; her nephew, Jeffrey King; brothers-in-law, Norman King and Ross Reddick; and sisters-in-law, Elsie Reddick and Joyce Reddick. Debby is survived and will be greatly missed by her daughter, Cheryl Reddick of Kenora, ON; her mother; her sister, Joan Haug (Glenn); her nieces: Elaine Reddick, Heather Heaney (Kevin), Tennile Haug (Billy) and Kirsten Nichols (Jerrod); nephew, Trent Haug (Kara); along with their children; sisters in law Betty Reddick, Irene Reddick, Myrtle Reddick, Nellie Edmundson & brother in law Charlie Reddick as well as her Aunt Jeanne & Aunt Pearl and many other extended family members. Debby grew up in Tuxford until 1964 when her family relocated to Regina. Upon completing high school, Debby moved to Moose Jaw where she trained as a Psychiatric Nurse and worked at Valley View Centre for several years. In 1971 she married Butch and they were posted to Germany with his military career in 1975. She spent the next four years traveling through Europe and raising their daughter. Debby and her family returned to Moose Jaw in 1979 where she resumed her nursing career which she greatly enjoyed. However she did want to try something different so she left nursing and began working with Citizen’s All Association until she retired in 2005. Debby’s family is appreciative of the extraordinary care she received from the staff of the Pasqua Hospital. A Service to Celebrate Debby’s Life will be held on Tuesday, December 17th, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Alliance Church, corner of 9th Ave NW and Thatcher Drive, in Moose Jaw. Pastor Jon Henry will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 917A Albert St, Regina, SK S4R 2P6.
