David Brian Valley

David Brian Valley, aged 66 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Thursday, December 12th, 2013.  The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 16th, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Pastor Adam Driscoll will officiate and interment will take place in Sunset Cemetery.  He was predeceased by his parents, John and Irene; and his brother, Gerald Poag.  David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 13 years, Linda; son, Eric (Taryn) Gommer; daughter, Dawn (Chad) Salsman; grandchildren: Nichole, Brian, Caleb, Elizabeth, Hope and Chloe Salsman; sisters, Fay (Larry) Hagerty and Donna (Bud) Pelletier; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special puppy, Bam Bam.  David was a caring man who was filled with laughter.  He was a kid at heart who never took life to seriously, always trying to find the lighter side of life.  His grandchildren were his pride and joy.  He loved animals and really enjoyed his time working with the Army Cadets.  David was an amazing man who was loved by all.  In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s name may be made to Creative Kids Saskatchewan, 404 – 2125 11th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X3.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Jeff Ofstie, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.
