Gloria Joan Wright (nee McCrady)

Gloria Joan Wright (nee McCrady), aged 69 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 22nd, 2013.  The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at the Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Reverend Doug Shepherd officiating.  She was born in Moose Jaw, SK and received her education here.  Her first job was at the Moose Jaw Training School, which was the beginning of a long career in Nursing.  She married Ken Wright on December 28th, 1963 in Moose Jaw and together they raised 3 children.  Gloria graduated from Humber College in Toronto as a Registered Nurse and worked in many different locations in Canada.  Her last position was Nurse Supervisor in Vancouver, BC until she retired, moving to Moose Jaw with her husband Ken.  She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Elsie McCrady; brother, John and very special aunt, Edna.  Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Ken; son, Kenneth; daughters, Andrea (Mike) and Kim (Rick); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Gloria’s name may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK S4T 7T1.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director. 693-4550.
