Lorraine Ida Fenwick
“Reunited”
Lorraine Ida Fenwick, aged 90 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15th, 2014 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Zelda Thomson; her husband, Oliver and brother, Len. Lorraine is survived by her children: Edward, Wade (Caroline), Laura (Calvin) and Tom (Brenda); grandchildren: Todd, Tara (Cory), Michael, Crystal (Tyler), Julie (Norm), Cheryl (Lee), Teresa (James), Krista (Robert), Kelsey (David); and her treasured great-grandchildren. Lorraine was born on July 18th, 1923 and raised on the family farm in Three Hills, Alberta. She graduated as a nurse in 1948 in Kamloops, BC and then returned to nurse in Alberta, where she met her mechanic husband Oliver Fenwick. In 1950 they were married and returned to the Fenwick family farm at Markinch, SK where they raised their four children until Oliver’s passing in 1984. Lorraine then moved to Cupar, Regina and finally in 2002 moved to Moose Jaw which she grew to love. In keeping with Lorraine’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held. The family wishes to thank Moose Jaw Union Hospital for all of their compassionate care during mom’s stay there. Flowers are gratefully declined.
