It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our son, father, brother and uncle, Ethan Saul Klippenstein. Ethan was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and came into our family at the age of 2 ½ months old. Growing up Ethan enjoyed being a part of our large Mennonite family. Ethan spent a large part of his childhood living in the Lethbridge area where he attended Immanuel Christian School. He loved his younger years living at Moon River Estates, racing around with his motor bike with his younger brother Jonas. He enjoyed the freedom that rural lifestyle provided for a young boy. As a teen, Ethan attended and graduated High School at Campbell Collegiate in Regina, SK. Ethan was an avid hockey player and excelled in his sport. As a young man, Ethan attended SIAST and following in his Father’s footsteps, became a journeyman carpenter. Ethan was an excellent carpenter and enjoyed working with his hands. At 18 years old Ethan was baptised in Hillsdale Alliance Church in Regina, SK and gave his life to the Lord. In 1999 Ethan proudly became a father to Aubrey. Ethan always felt that his daughter Aubrey was his greatest accomplishment. I was having a wonderful visit with Ethan just one week prior to his death. He was full of joy and laughter and made everyone smile. I think of that smile often and still even years after his passing. He made the world such a better place and his spirit lives on
