Also missing Grampa are grandsons: Brandon, Nolen and Caleb Jacobson, Daniel Lariviere, Reid and Rowan Vandenberg, and Anthony Lariviere; granddaughters: Jessica Lariviere, Jordan Lariviere and Nicole Estavillo; and great-grandson, Tommy. He is also survived by brothers, Jon (Sylvia) Lariviere and Meryl (Darlene) Lariviere; sisters: Marg (William) Prescesky, Marilyn (Ray) Gosselin and Francine Sorensen; brothers-in-law: Robert Draper, Donald (Joann) Draper and David (Rose) Draper; sisters-in-law, Sandi McVittie and Sheila (D’Arcy) Dann; as well as many nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. Rollie has so many friends that will cherish his memory with love. Rollie was born and raised in Moose Jaw and spent his working career in various venues around the city, including Marv’s Subway Texaco as an auto mechanic for 20 years and the last 15 years at Atco Frontec at 15 Wing, which were both jobs that he loved. Rollie enjoyed many different projects such as working on cars and could build or fix anything. He was first in line to help anyone who needed it. He loved the peace and solitude of life at Sun Valley and spent his time outdoors with his neighbors, friends and family. He greeted everyone he met with his warm smile, and each and every one of the people that he came across in his life will cherish and share their thoughts and memories for years to come. His spirit will remain in our hearts. Family and Friends are invited to join in a Celebration of Rollie’s Life on Thursday, August 21st, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Thomson will officiate and a private interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Rollie’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.
