Leo Seibel
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Leo Seibel on Thursday, July 17th, 2014. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Pioneers Lodge in Moose Jaw at the age of 86 years. Leo will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Mazie; daughters, Cheryl (Murray) Ogilvy and Jackie (Kurt) Kellner; son, Terry (Shelley); grandchildren: Rob (Dallas), Leslie (Dave), Michelle, Christina (Greg) and Michael; great-grandchildren: Dylan, Sydney, Dustin, Kelsey, Orianna, Kate, Kyler, Emily, Molly and Brooklyn; brothers, David (Gen) Seibel and Roy (Bev) Seibel; sisters: Caroline (Bob) Myers, Betty Wasson and Erna Weibe; and sisters-in-law, Ursula Seibel and Edith Seibel. Leo spent many years driving truck and made lots of good friends in his travels, as well as in the different communities they lived in. He loved to go camping and spent many wonderful holidays camping with Mazie and family. Leo took delight in learning and playing the violin at the ripe old age of 76. Leo’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the wonderful care he was given at Pioneers Lodge by all of the staff. You made his final days comfortable. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 21st, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Darrell Buchannan will officiate and interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Leo’s name may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK S4T 7T1.
