Lloyd Thomas Trew

Lloyd Thomas Trew aged 53 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Thursday, March 6th, 2014 at Extendicare.  He was born in Moose Jaw, SK on November 1st, 1960.  He grew up in Moose Jaw,  then moved to Brantford, ON to attend school for the blind, before moving to Lethbridge, AB and then to Saskatoon, SK.  Lloyd returned to Moose Jaw in November 2008 and shortly after moved to Extendicare, where he has since resided.  He was predeceased by his parents, Dave and Matile Trew.  Lloyd will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Harry (Val) Trew of Moose Jaw, SK; sisters, Gladys (Rolland) Pasquet of Moose Jaw, SK and Dale (Larry) Barnett of Abbotsford, BC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Jehovah’s Witness speaker will be Dean Ohochinsky.  A private family interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Lloyd’s name may be made to The Canadian National Institute for the Blind, 2550 Broad St., Regina, SK S4P 3Z4.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Calvin Gammel, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
