Darlene Anne Bakken

Darlene Anne Bakken passed away on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018 at the age of 67 years.  She was predeceased by her mother, Rose Rudolph; and her former husband, Kenneth Markel.  Darlene is survived by her loving husband Ole Bakken, who was by her side when she passed.  She was very proud of her large family, daughters: Le-anna, Dianna (Rod), Angela (John), and Gwendolan; son, Jason (Peggy); grandchildren: Jennifer (Scott), Zackery (Amber), Andrew, Rae-Anne, Matthew, Allison (Cory), Jasmin (Jerico), Kendra, Sarah, Emma, Lucas, and Jackson; and great-grandchildren: Rayne, Ryder, Calli, Patience, Kaleb, and Isaac.  Darlene is also survived by her sister, Laurie (Ken); and niece, Faith.  A come and go gathering of family and friends will be held in Darlene’s memory on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018 from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club Hall, 561 Home St W, Moose Jaw, SK.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Darlene’s name may be made to the Alzheimer Association of Saskatchewan, 301 – 2550 – 12th Ave, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
