LAURA BISHOP
August 30th, 1921 – February 7th, 2018

Laura Annie Bishop passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 at the Lumsden and District Heritage Home, surrounded by her family, at the age of 96 years.  Laura was born on the farm near her hometown of Chamberlain, SK.  Over the years she lived in Grainland, Central Butte, Moose Jaw, and Regina, SK.  She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Bessie Swain; husband, John; siblings: Jim, Amy, Henry, Emily, Walter, Bill, and Daisy; as well as all of her brothers and sisters-in-law.  Laura is survived by her sister, Dorothy; children: Linda (Clifford), Myrna (Bill), and Greg (Lisa); and grandchildren: Ellie (Gary), Kelley (Scott), Tara (Dylan), Gregory, and Rebecca (Devon).  The family would like to thank Dr. Fowara and the Lumsden and District Heritage Home for the care provided to Laura.  The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Interment will take place in Central Butte Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Laura’s name may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association, 917A Albert St, Regina, SK S4R 2P6.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Michelle Surtees Funeral Director 306-693-4550
