Fred Deichert

Fred Deichert, aged 91 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Tuesday, July 10th, 2018.  Fred was born at Prelate, SK and received his education at Lancer, SK.  He married Rose Newton on November 27th, 1952 and together they raised 2 children.  He was predeceased by his son, Barry; and all of his siblings.  Fred will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Rose; daughter, Sharon; grandchildren, Jo (Penny) and their children Wyatt and Peyton, and Christa (Dave Armstrong) and her children Paisleigh and Teaghan; daughter-in-law, Sandra Heron; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 16th, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Dave Foley will officiate and interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Fred’s name may be made to Parkinson Canada, 610 Duchess St, Saskatoon, SK S7K 0R1.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
