Irvin Leroy Bymoen
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Irvin Leroy Bymoen, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. With his family by his side, Irvin passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 29th, 2018 at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, SK at the age of 83 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Arndt and Irene Bymoen; and three brothers. Irvin is survived and will always be greatly missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Elaine Bymoen (née: Martin); his children: Cheryl Charters (Patrick Brehm), Sandy Ross (Don Moulding), Carolyn Folk (Ron Folk), and Brent Bymoen (Richard Pawsey); 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The eldest of four brothers, he was born on July 30th, 1935 in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan. Irvin will be fondly remembered as a hardworking, successful and multi-talented man. He lived all his dreams, but nothing meant more to him than his family. Irvin had a big heart and left his mark on many people who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be sadly missed by all. A Celebration of Irvin’s Life will be held on Friday, December 7th, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane, Moose Jaw, SK where we encourage others to share a story or memory of Irvin. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, 110-1525 Carling Ave, Ottawa, ON, K1Z 8R9.
