Joseph Romeo Adrien Leduc
Joseph Romeo Adrien Leduc, aged 84 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Wednesday, June 27th, 2018. Joseph was born on March 17th, 1934 on a farm at Albertville, SK, the youngest of 3 boys. He joined the RCAF in 1954 and served on numerous bases across Canada and Europe, retiring in 1984 in Moose Jaw. Joseph married Dallys L. Ruffles in Winnipeg, MB in 1959. After retirement, Joseph served part-time with the Canadian Corps Commissionaire from 1985 to 2001. He enjoyed various sports including baseball, hockey, curling, lawn bowling, cross-country skiing, and skating. He was predeceased by his parents; and brother-in-law, John Cook. Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Dallys; brothers, Lou and Don (Josephine); sister-in-law, Phyllis Cook; as well as nieces and nephews: Richard Leduc and children, Gilbert Leduc, Jackie Leduc and children, Nicole Corriveau (Dave) and children, Edward Cook (Karen), Agnes Giesbrecht (Larry and children, Harvey Cook (Heather) and children, and George Cook (Roxanne) and children. In keeping with Joseph’s wishes, a private family service will be held and interment will take place at the National Military Section of Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa, ON. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Joseph’s name may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, #1 – 2217 Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, SK S7L 9Z9.
