GORDON “DUKE” PEAKMAN
April 1st, 1946 – March 30th, 2018
With sadness we announce that Gordon Louis Peakman (Duke) passed away on the morning of Good Friday, March 30th, 2018, very peacefully at home with his wife Wenda by his side. He has gone to Heaven to rest with no sickness. He joins his mum and dad, Ethel and Jim Peakman; as well as other family and friends. Gord leaves behind his wife, Wenda; children: Todd, Boyd (Wanda) and their children Taylor and Kayli, and Amy (Jay) and their son Kai; siblings: Jim (Nicole), Linda (Bob), Rita (Merle), and Janet; many nieces, nephews, and extended family; and not to forget his furry friends: Fluffy, Stanley, and Kawalsky. Gord was born in Silsoe, England and lived in Spring Valley, SK and then Moose Jaw, SK. He loved his job of 35 years selling Electrolux. Gord travelled around the world, as he was in the top 10 of Canada in sales. He had God as his right hand man and has left a circle of friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 7th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hillcrest Apostolic Church, 1550 Main St N, Moose Jaw, SK. Reverend Walter Engel will officiate and interment will take place in Blue Hills Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gord’s name may be made to The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #59, 268 High St W, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1S8.
