So sad to hear of Rods passing. I remember him from being our bread man back in the early 60’s. I’m sure many of the kids on South Hill still remember him as almost a family member, a real friend, not just our bread man. My mom had Rod do some renovations around the house after he retired from his route.
He was a true gentleman and I’m sure will be missed.
Our sincere sympathy to the family. I remember your father bringing Beau to school everyday & having nice chats with both of them. Such a kind-hearted person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. God bless.

so sorry for your loss
So sorry to hear of Rod’s passing. He will certainly be missed. We met Rod through Beau as my wife Shirley was one of Beau’s teachers. He was always so warm and cordial towards us.
Praying for the family during this difficult time that God will draw each one close and provide comfort to their aching hearts.
