Arlene Bernice Biech

Arlene Bernice Biech, aged 69 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Tuesday, October 11th, 2016.  Arlene will be lovingly remembered by her son, Doug Pearce (Bernice) and three grandchildren; brothers, Walter (Audrey) and Del (Laurie-Jo); sister, Renetta (Harold) Moen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  Arlene was born in Herbert, SK and attended Wiebe School, Herbert and Swift Current Schools.  Arlene was a seamstress for many years and provided sewing services to the Moose Jaw and surrounding area.  Prior to moving to Moose Jaw, she worked in North Battleford and Saskatoon.  She enjoyed the interaction with her clients and made an extra effort to satisfy their clothing needs.  She loved to design, sew and alter clothes, and spent her entire career in the sewing business.  Arlene was active in her church and enjoyed the many activities that were available in the Moose Jaw community.  Family was very important to Arlene and she always remembered birthdays and anniversaries, and made a special effort to participate in family activities.  The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 20th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Arlene’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Sask, 1738 Quebec Ave, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9 or to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
