Joyce Eileen Bumphrey

Joyce Eileen Bumphrey passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Monday, March 28th, 2016 at the age of 85 years.  Joyce was born on July 6th, 1930.  She was predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Mary Hall; infant brother; and husband, Earl.  Joyce is survived by her children: Larry (Brenda), Kelly (Brenda), Sheila (Terry) Getzlaf and Donna (Les) Eastmond; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Faye Hall; brother, Norman Hall; sisters-in-law: Doris Jackson, Shirley Lutz and Patricia McIntyre; as well as many special nieces and nephews.  Joyce was the quintessential housewife.  She took utmost pride in her home.  She was an avid follower of the Royals and could tell you almost anything about them.  Her favourite times were spent with her grand and great-grandchildren.  Joyce was very interested in family history and kept excellent records.  She will be greatly missed.  The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 4th, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Reverend Doug Shepherd will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Joyce’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
