Richard Clermont
Richard Clermont, aged 68 years of Moose Jaw, Sask., passed away on Saturday, October 8th, 2016. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 13th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate with interment at Rosedale Cemetery. Rick was born in South Porcupine, ON and grew up in the Cornwall area. Before coming to Saskatchewan, he had a daughter Christine with his former wife. In 1984, Rick moved to Regina where he met Marcie and settled in Moose Jaw. They were blessed with two daughters together, Quinn and Haley. Rick worked at various jobs, finally settling at Valley View Centre as a housekeeper. He was very proud to receive his 10 year award from the government for his dedication before retiring due to declining health in 2013. He was most proud of his family and enjoyed a special bond with his grandson Grissom. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Rosalie Clermont; brothers Raymond, Paul and Ronald; brothers-in-law Stuart and Romeo. Rick will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 31 years, Marcie; daughters: Christine (Sylvain) Desjardins, Quinn Foster (Kary Chudy), and Haley (Jordan) Cope; grandchildren: Matthew (Katie) Hope, Steven (Mandy) Dicaire, Gavin Dicaire, Grissom, Nevaeh and Leilah; great granddaughters Lexa and Spencer; brother Maurice (Joyce); sisters: Simone (Al), Eileen (Gaston), Jay, Paulette (Claude) and Linda, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer Association of Saskatchewan Inc, 301–2550-12th Ave. Regina, SK. S4P 3X1.
