Pierre Joseph Desruisseaux

Pierre Joseph Desruisseaux, born April 17th, 1935 in St Raphaelle, Quebec, passed away at the Dr. FH Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, SK on Saturday, August 20th, 2016.  Pierre will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Marie Desruisseaux.  He will be greatly missed by his children: daughter, Johanne (Earl); grandchildren Michelle and Krystal, and their 4 great-grandchildren; son, Sylvain (Janna); grandchildren: Jordan (Merissa), Natalie (Jerred), Danielle (Efe), Ashton (Scott), Taylor (Chad), and their 9 great-grandchildren; daughter, Manon; daughter, Nancy (Mike); grandchildren: Dakota (Camille), Dawsyn, Cody, and their 2 great-grandchildren; daughter, Suzanne (Mike); grandchildren: Jaycee, Kamree, Kylee, Wyatt and Houston.  Pierre was loved by all and was a most loyal friend.  He was a fisherman, he valued his friends and would not ever refuse to lend a helping hand, had an amazing sense of humour and his laugh was contagious.  His heart was at his cabin in Parkview where he spent the last 27 years.

I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day
And when it comes to my last cast
I then most humbly pray:
When in the Lord’s
Great landing net,
And peacefully asleep
That in His mercy I be judged
Big enough to keep
