Carol Mimi Beaton
Carol Mimi Beaton, daughter of Ida Guttormson and Sidney Guy, born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on Monday, October 22nd, 2018 at the age of 63 years. She was a loving sister of two brothers and seven sisters: Pearl, Allen, Heather, Beanie, Orville, Valerie, Tanya and Tammy. Her loving companion in life was Harry Leslie Beaton, and was mother of three boys: Lester (Jim), Curtis and Kelly (Ronnie). Her greatest joy was her grandchildren: Colby, Deanna, Kelsay, Christine, Braxton, Logan, Madden, Brandon and Keagan. She had a bigger than life, bubbly personality that brought joy and laughter to all who entered her life. Her loss will be great but the lives she touched were bettered by her presence. She was our rock, she held everyone together. She made sure we knew the door was always open. We thought she raised us all to be dependent on her, but now we know she was actually just teaching us to do it her way. If we take anything from her life it will be this: Suck it up, enjoy life, be positive, and speak it as you see it. Oh… And hold people you love close (or lick them) even if it’s against their will. A Celebration of Carol`s Life will be held on Saturday, October 27th, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Dave Foley officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Carol`s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Unit 26 – 1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
