It is with great sorrow that the family of Peggy Foster announce her passing on December 6th, 2016 in Moose Jaw, SK. Peggy began her life as a Londoner and left as a Moose Javian. Born and raised in one of the largest cities in the world at the time, she married Bill (“Coosty”) Foster following World War II and moved to Canada to live in some of the smallest places in the world. She arrived in Canada as a war bride at the end of the winter of 1946 and settled in Birch Hills, SK. In subsequent years, she and her family moved to Albertville, White Fox, Carlton and Duck Lake. Following the death of her husband of sixty-two years in 2006, Peggy moved to Saskatoon followed by a move to Moose Jaw in 2014. During her lifetime, she was a full-time mother and a volunteer in the communities in which she lived. She had a great reverence for education. She volunteered in schools and was a member of the Rosthern School Unit Board. For a short time, she did work for Home Care. She was recognized for her volunteer efforts by being chosen for Citizen of the Year in Duck Lake, SK.
