Georgene Garfelda Watson

Watson- Georgene Garfelda, aged 85 years of Saskatoon and formerly of Moose Jaw, passed away on Monday, December 12th, 2016.  The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 15th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Reverend Douglas Shepherd officiating.  Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.  Predeceased by her husband Donald.  Garfelda will be lovingly remembered by her son, Rodger (Alison) and grandchildren Ryan and Alex and numerous other relatives.  She was born in Prince Albert and raised in the Webb, SK. district.  Garfelda met her future husband Donald in Swift Current and they were married in 1958.  She later moved to Moose Jaw where she resided until her husband’s passing in 2013, then moving to Saskatoon to be closer to her son and family.  Garfelda loved music and going for walks in Crescent Park.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, contributions to the Alzheimer Assoc. of Saskatchewan Inc. 301 – 2550 – 12th Ave. Regina, SK.
