Stanley Kenneth Brown
Stanley Kenneth Brown, aged 69 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Friday, September 1st, 2017. He was predeceased by his wife, Linda; parents, Roy and Brenda Brown; and son, Stanley Jr. Stanley will be lovingly remembered by his kids: Sheila (Floyd), Laura (Terry), Crystal (Shane), Ashley, Jesse, Kim (Keith), Carol-Ann, and Curtis; brother, Dennis (Marie); grandkids: Brody, Matthew, Brooke, Brent, Austin, Alexis, Tristan, Sophie, Jordon, Jack, Bradley, Cody, and Britney; as well as numerous other relatives. Stan was born in Moose Jaw, SK. He attended elementary school at Prince Arthur and high school at Peacock Tech. After graduating, he went to work at CP Rail until his retirement. Stan married Linda on November 3rd, 1989. He loved spending time at Buffalo Pound Lake, watching old movies, watching the Toronto Blue Jays and the Edmonton Eskimos, and of course his animals. Stan loved his old cars and enjoyed working on them with Brody while having a few beverages and listening to old music. He liked fishing, travelling to Okotoks, going to the farm, meat draws at the Legion, and laughing and shaking his head at the stuff Brooke would do. An example was showing Grandpa snap chat and the filters on it. He liked when Brooke and her friends would ride their horses to his house to show him. He took great pride in the grandkids interests, laughing and shaking his head at the stuff they did. Stan and Brody would spend endless hours looking at vehicles on the computer, searching for their next project. A Celebration of Stan’s Life will be held on Thursday, September 7th, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. on the upper floor of the Royal Canadian Legion, 268 High St W, Moose Jaw, SK. A private family interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Calvin Gammel, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
