Chantal Jolyn Folk

Chantal Jolyn Folk, aged 31 years of Holdfast, SK passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, November 6th, 2017.  Chantal was raised on a farm outside of Chamberlain, SK and graduated from high school at Peacock Technical Collegiate in Moose Jaw, SK.  She graduated from Medicine Hat College with a diploma in marketing.  Chantal was employed at the Conexus Credit Union in Holdfast, where she resided with her husband on their farm.  Chantal will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Matthew; parents, Calvin and Wendy Ackerman; brother, Shawn (Miranda) and their son Finnick; father and mother-in-law, John and Linda Folk; brother-in-law, Lucas Folk; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.  A Time of Fellowship and Celebration of Chantal’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 11th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the lower hall of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Holdfast, SK.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Chantal’s name may be made to the Friends of Unit 3B c/o Hospitals of Regina Foundation, 225 – 1874 Scarth St, Regina, SK S4P 9Z9.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
