William Kenneth “Ken” Greer

William Kenneth “Ken” Greer, aged 83 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Sunday, January 29th, 2017.  Ken was born at Rouleau, SK on May 18th, 1933.  He received his education at Rouleau and Moose Jaw.  Ken joined the Canadian Armed Forces and served for 36 years until his retirement.  He married Margaret Brown on August 29th, 1953 in Calgary, AB and together they raised 4 children.  He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Murray and Robert.  Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Margaret; sons, Robert (Carolyn) and Allan (Elini); daughter, Kathy (Mark) and Susan (Ron); 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives.  In keeping with Ken’s wishes, a private family service will be held.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Ken’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Unit 26 – 1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
