GORDON WILLIAM HILL
Gord passed away suddenly at home on the family farm on the evening of Saturday, March 11th, 2017. He was predeceased by his mother, Evelyn Hill; and father-in-law, Mervin May. Gord is survived by his wife of 26 years, Carolyn; sons, Justin (Amber) and Clint (Hannah); father, Jack; brothers: Keith (Pat), Dwayne (Dolores), Donald, and Greg (Candy); mother-in-law, Dorothy May; brothers-in-law, Wayde (Theresa) and Brad (Roberta); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gord was born on September 29th, 1956. In 1990, he married Carolyn and together they resided on the family farm in the Buttress area. Gord drove truck for 39 years while carrying on the family farm operation. He was employed the last 10 years as an equipment operator at Mosaic Potash. He was a lifelong member of the Moose Jaw Cycle Association, making many good friends in all of his endeavours. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 17th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Andrew’s United Church, 60 Athabasca St E, Moose Jaw, SK with Reverend Jim Tenford officiating. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Gord’s name may be made to the Salvation Army for the Moose Jaw Cycle Association Toy Run, 175 – 1st Ave NE, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 0Y9.
