Isobelle Daphne Johnson
Isobelle Daphne Johnson, aged 87 years of Moose Jaw and formerly of Central Butte, SK passed away on Sunday, October 15th, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, Sam and Kit Cave; husband of 65 years, Henry; son, Dale (1986); daughter, Dianne Drummond (2014); siblings: Leonard, Donald, and Betty. Daphne is survived by her son, Earl (Rosemarie) of Vancouver, BC; grandchildren: Matt (Kyla) of Cochrane, AB, Chris of Edmonton, AB, Shawn of Regina, SK, and Rob of Vancouver, BC; brother, Stanley (Sylvia) Cave; and sister, Mavis Nicholson. Daphne was an active curler, and a member of the Legion Auxiliary and Mawer Social Club. She was an avid card player, and a member of the “Rumoli Girls”. Daphne and Henry farmed in the Mawer community until moving to Central Butte. Later they moved to Moose Jaw to enjoy their final years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 21st, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate and interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Daphne’s name may be made to the Alzheimer Association of Saskatchewan, 301-2550 – 12th Ave, Regina, SK S4P 3X1 or the Central Butte Legion Branch #213.
