We were so sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. He has left those of us who knew him with a Godly influence. He left no doubt of whom he loved and served. We have many beautiful memories of being in Dan and Marsha’s home.
Love and Hugs from Doug and Alice
Marsha, Coleen, Jeff, Aileen, and Cameron
For about 45 years now I have experienced and valued Dan’s enthusiasm, love and joy – his appreciation for fellowship and his immense friendliness. But as family, you have, each of you, your own experience and your own valuing and in these last years your own loss, which Colleen and I acknowledge with caring hearts, knowing that each of you will now experience kindness and care through the hours and days ahead that comes from the Source of all comfort and care.
Many good memories over many years. Our condolences with love !
Dear Marsha and family,
We first got to know you and Dan many years ago before you moved west. Have always valued Dan’s testimony that he shared with us years ago.
We would like to be at the service but that isn’t possible so will listen on line.
Our sincere sympathy to you and family.
Dear Marsha, Coleen, Jeff, Aileen, and Cameron,
I am so sorry that I’m not able to be with you these days. I have such wonderful memories of Dan right from the beginning days when he and Marsha heard the gospel in Saskatoon. Dan’s expressions were so original. I remember visiting one evening in their home on the east side of Saskatoon when dad came out with one of these original expressions; I couldn’t stop laughing and I had to excuse myself, get up and go and walk around the block, and I was still laughing when I got back !!! Indeed Dan was a walking miracle because of what the gospel had done for him. We now have one more treasure in heaven, because we loved our brother dearly.
Hi Marsha and family,
I was sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. I’m remember the first time I met both of you at Theodore convention, I had just recently professed and loved to hear your testimony. I’m grateful for the many visits that I was able to have with you both. The last time I remember was at Aylsbury convention. And the last visit I had was in your home in Moose Jaw, which was precious to me as well.
I’m sorry I couldn’t make it to the service, but will be listening to it on line.
All the best in the coming days. Keep on being strong. Love you all.
Our hearts are filled with gratefulness for Dan’s life and example amongst us. The scripture is not filled with the lives of great men but of lives that became great through God’s work………..unrestricted and willing to go where He leads for “Thou art my friend”.
Dear Marsha and family,
Feelings of love, care, comfort, joy , and hope go out to each of you. We are so thankful for the years of fellowship with you.
A beautiful funeral, thankful to have met and have special memories of Dan & Marsha when we all lived on Vancouver Island, a beautiful loving family, Dan was sincere and kind, a mark to treasure,
Gone but will never be forgotten,
Marsha and family
