PHYLLIS MAE EVANS (née: Logan)
November 20, 1939 – December 1, 2024.
Phyllis Mae Evans aged 85 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully with her husband Allan and her family by her side, on Sunday, December 1st, 2024, at her new home, Chateau St. Michael’s. Phyllis had recently celebrated her 85th birthday.
She was predeceased by her parents, James and Ruby Logan; father-in-law, William Evans and mother-in-law, Ethel Evans; sisters, Edie Loeppky and Margie Willis; brother, Ernie Logan; son, Bruce; son-in-law, Richard Bellefeuille; and great-granddaughter, Maren Bradford.
Over the years Phyllis worked as a waitress and delivered papers for the Moose Jaw Times Herald. She enjoyed being on the farm, in her garden, sitting on her deck, or working with horses and cattle. She always had a dog or cat in her home, or both! In her later years she enjoyed family pets that came to visit.
Phyllis enjoyed 4H as a child and eventually helped her kids through the 4H beef program, becoming a leader for several years as well. She loved to go fishing from the shoreline and the odd time from the boat. Phyllis loved country music, and her favourite had become Johnny Reid.
Phyllis leaves to mourn: her husband of 63 years, Allan; daughters, Carol Bellefeuille (John) and Lori (Kelvin) Bradford; sons, Brent (Shelley) Evans and Brad (Cathy) Evans; grandchildren: Cole (Jody) Bellefeuille, Greg Bellefeuille, Michael (Chelsey) Bellefeuille, Scott (Cathy) Bradford, Logan (Phuong) Bradford, Brandon Evans, Lauren (Cole) Witkowski, Reese Evans, and Nicholas Evans; great-grandchildren: Jordis, Lily, Cash, Zadie, Ace, Indie, Tyce, Kloie, Ada, Wyatt, and Rhett; sisters-in-law: Carol Logan, Olwen (Wilmer) Kipling, and Gwen (Don) Webb; and brother-in-law, David (Sandra)Evans.
We would like to thank Dr. Maree and the staff at Chateau St. Michaels.
