Leonard Tibor Kutasi
Leonard Tibor Kutasi of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on Thursday, August 29th, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Julianna; as well as several brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Evelyn Dahl (Harvey). Tibor is survived by his wife, Patricia (née: Mutala); sisters, Sylvia Kutasi and Adrienne Brooke (Leo Benoit); sisters and brothers-in-law: Marg (Alan) Bells, Angie Wollbaum (Bob – deceased), Ernie Mutala, Alene Mutala, Joyce Hayes (Lyle – deceased), Don (Ji Young) Mutala, Marion Mutala, and Rocke Mutala; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Tibor taught Mathematics at SIAST for 34 years, retiring in 2002. He loved science fiction and math books and had a collection of more than 6,000 books in his collection. He also took great interest in Astronomy. In his retirement, Tibor enjoyed feeding all the little critters in his backyard, growing sunflowers, and travelling around Montana visiting various bookstores. Most of all, Tibor loved spending time with his family and friends.
Tibor was missed by his many work colleagues and will be forever missed by all who knew him.
A Private Celebration of Tibor’s Life will be held at a later date.
