Ronald Vernon Strayer

Ronald Vernon Strayer, aged 67 years of Moose Jaw passed away on Saturday, September 2nd, 2017.  The Memorial Service will be celebrated on Thursday, September 7th, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Dave Foley officiating.  He was predeceased by his father Don, brother Glen, mother and father-in-law Joyce and Bert McEwen and brother-in-law Ron.  Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife Candice; daughter Rhonda (Cory) Oakes; grandchildren Liam and Sadie; son Kyle (Ali) Strayer; mother Glenys; brother Rob and sister Carol; sister-in-law Sandy; brothers-in-law Randy (Ginny), Blake (Debbie) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Ron worked in construction before taking over the family farm from his father.  He had a love for animals, especially his two dogs Toby and Shadow.  Ron had a passion for vehicles and spent a lot of time browsing for them.  He was very social and always had time to tell or listen to a good story.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Ron may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Assoc. 917A albert St. Regina, SK.
