ANNE LOUISE CAMERON (née: Binda)
May 11th, 1949 – January 13th, 2024
Surrounded by the love and comfort of her family, Anne Louise Cameron passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at the age of 74 years, after a very brief, but brave and dignified battle with cancer.
Anne was born, raised and lived in Moose Jaw, SK her entire life, attending Empire Elementary School and Riverview Collegiate High School.
Anne spent many years as a sales associate at Bi-Rite Drugs, then later Shoppers Drug Mart. She made many friends while working there, not only with co-workers but customers as well. She retired from Shoppers in December of 2018 and spent her retirement relaxing and caring for her mother.
In her free time Anne enjoyed going to bingo with her mother and going on yearly trips with her mother and sister until health issues interfered and the trips had to stop. Whether those trips be a cruise or down to the States to visit family, she always loved and enjoyed her time on these trips.
Anne loved spending time with her family. Going for breakfast at The National or Andy’s with her sons and young grandchildren was a weekly tradition that is remembered and cherished to this day. That same tradition restarted with the added next generation of great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father, Louis Binda in 2007; grandson, Christopher Cameron in 2003; and brother in-law, Bob Meikle in 1998. Anne is survived by her mother, Janet Binda; sister, Jane Meikle; and nephew Bill Meikle. She will forever leave an empty space in the lives of her sons, Dale (Cherry) Cameron and Dan (Cynthia) Cameron. She will be immensely missed by her grandchildren: Douglas (Katie) Cameron, Andrew (Alyssa) Cameron, Jayda (Jayden) Little, Breigh Cameron, Allie (Claude) Cameron, Sydney Cameron, and Jared Cameron; and will be lovingly remembered as “GG” by her great-grandchildren: Elena, Asura, Daxon, Aunna, Piper, Korbyn, Ashlynn, Jaxon and Ivy. Anne will be fondly remembered by her step-grandchildren: Carmen, Joe, Adam, Lyndon, and Teanna, whom she welcomed and loved with open arms. She is also survived by many other relatives and family friends.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the nursing staff at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital for their exceptional care of Mom. A special thank you to Mark and Keanna in the critical care unit, you both were amazing. Thank you!
“Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end.
