Kevin Wayne Bickford
We are heartbroken. Kevin Wayne Bickford aged 57 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 4th, 2024. Kevin was born in Moose Jaw on February 27th, 1966, and grew up in Caron, Saskatchewan. His family moved to Moose Jaw, and he went to AE Peacock. Kevin married Deanna Parry in 1986 and had 3 children – Crystal, Victoria and Josh. Kevin was an all-around handyman – he could pretty much build or fix anything. Most will know him from his many years at Cardinal Construction. Kevin had to take an early leave from work in 2013 as he battled lymphoma and received a bone marrow transplant in December 2014. The road since has been filled with ups and downs but he was able to take the time for travel, camping, fishing, and spending time with the grandchildren. Kevin loved spending time with the grandkids and teaching them new things. He shared his love for hunting and fishing with Riely, Illianna, Jesiah, and Nyah. He loved having all the grandkids at the lake in the summers and being able to spend time with them on the boat. He spent time cheering them on with sports and was their biggest fan. Kevin loved watching Riely play hockey, lacrosse, and football, and was always cheering in the stands and on the sidelines. He loved watching Illianna play baseball. He was always willing to help out with Brielle and Chase and developed a special bond with them. Kevin had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone and give you the shirt off his back, he was loved by so many people. He always had a big smile on his face, and you knew how much he loved you back by how much he bugged you. He would light up a room when he walked in.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rodney and Clara Bickford; honorary parents, Oliver and Ona Bastein; fathers-in-law, Max Parry and Pierre Morissette; and grandparents-in-law, Wilf and Irene Chase. Kevin is survived by his wife, Deanna; children: Crystal (Ben), Victoria, and Josh (Tara); grandchildren: Riely, Jesiah, Nyah, Illianna, Skye, Brielle, and Chase; brothers: Blair (Tracey), Todd (Gail), and Rick; sisters, Pam and Jodi; brother-in-law, David (Sheryl); and mother-in-law, Loraine.

Above all, he shared his smile, kindness and gentle spirit. Sending love and deep condolences to family for your loss and tender thoughts as you grieve.
