WILLIAM (BILL) ROBERT MCCREARY
It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of William “Bill” Robert McCreary on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023 at the Regina Pasqua Hospital. Bill was born on January 28th, 1944 in Calgary, AB. At a young age, he moved to Craik, SK and lived there until 1955 when he then moved to Moose Jaw, SK. He worked at Palm Dairies in Moose Jaw before moving to Young, SK to work for a rancher in 1970. In 1974, Bill returned to Moose Jaw and started working for Paice Construction for 38 years until his retirement. In 2022, he moved to Central Butte, SK to be closer to family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Ruby McCreary; and wives, Victoria McCreary and Carol McCreary. Bill is survived by his daughter, Colleen Mehalicz (Greg Gardner); grandson, Riley Gardner; brothers, Allan (Bonnie) McCreary and Stuart (Eileen) McCreary; sister, Bonnie Clark; as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be sadly missed by special friends, Mitch Marcil and Freida Fedrau.

The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 24th, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Sharon Schultz officiating. Those not able to attend may view the service virtually by going to www.moosejawfuneralhome.com/webcast/. I have not seen Bill often the last few years.He was a great person to visit with.I am very saddened by his passing.

Though I only happened to see Bill infrequently when I was visiting in Moose Jaw I remember him well because of the impression he left with his warm and gregarious personality.
