Allen Raymond Young

Allen Raymond Young, aged 74 years of Regina and formerly of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017.  Allen was born in Moose Jaw and worked at Pittsburg Industries, CFB Moose Jaw, and Raider Industries.  He met Deb Hartman on October 17th, 1996 and they have resided together until his passing.  Allen enjoyed dancing, camping, country music, cards, watching sports, and had a great sense of humour, which he kept right until the day he passed away.  Allen loved Deb and his family dearly.  He was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Muriel Young.  Allen will be lovingly remembered by his partner, Deb Hartman; daughter, Mona (Harry) and granddaughter Payten; son, Robert and grandchildren Heather and Anthony; stepchildren: Michelle (Stefan) and grandsons, Christine (Stephen), and Peter (Julia) and granddaughter; sisters, Dianne (Gord) and Sanford family, and Debbie LaRose and son; brothers, Randy (Arla) and family, and Darrell (Karen) and family; as well as numerous other relatives.  In keeping with Allen’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Allen’s name may be made to Regina Qu’Appelle Palliative Care c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK S4T 1A5.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
