Most heartfelt condolences to Tom & all the rest of Rose Mary’s family. A very special person
So sorry to hear of this great loss to so many friends, family and fellow citizens. I have great memories of Rosie in elementary school – even though I moved schools after only 2 years – and especially in all four years of high school. She was always the adult in the room but was also fun loving and enjoyable to be with. Her all too early demise is a great tragedy for her friends and community.
My Deepest Sympathy to all the Hartney Family.Rose Mary was a very giving caring person, she will be missed by so many.I’m truly sorry for your loss.

Rose Mary and I worked together many years ago when she was the academic advisor for the Moose Jaw Warriors and one of our St. Francis Xavier (Edmonton) high school students was playing with the Warriors. We communicated frequently over the course of those few years to ensure that our mutual student would not miss out on any credits needed for his high school diploma. I remember her as warm and kind. She always wanted the best for her students. John, Joanne, Desmond and family, I am so sorry for your loss.
John, JoAnne and the Hartney family. Our condolences to all of you on the passing of your sister.

John and family, condolences on the passing of Rose Mary. A life well lived. Few people positively touch as many lives as she did.
Condolences to everyone who were related and friends of Rose Marie . We attended the same school in high school. She was a real asset to everyone in the whole world . She will be in our thoughts and prayers for a long time . So sorry to Joanne and John Hartney.
Her corner of the world is emptier, but heaven is fuller! Miss Hartney was my high school English teacher and a rock to the school and church community. After having moved away from MJ, I always looked forward to the big smile and bright eyed reception from Miss Hartney when I came to Church of Our Lady with my mom. She was a constant presence and made the church feel like home.
She has helped our family in many ways over the years, especially when my mom was dying; she was there for us along with the team at church. May her soul through the Mercy of God Rest in Peace, and May Perpetual Light Shine upon her.
We will miss you.
