RIP Lynn. You and Doug were great running mates in the early 60s. I have great memories of you two.
I had the pleasure of getting to know Donna “Lynn” when she and my husband were in the same place. We would meet in the hall, she would say hi Donna and I would say hi Lynn, we even took a selfie together because we had the same name “Donna” Lynn. Lovely memories of her beautiful smile.
Sorry to hear this about your mom and grandmother deepest condolences to you Sterling , Tahnie, Tate ,and Tevy .
So sorry to read of Lynn’s passing. I haven’t seen her for years…her parents were good friends of my parents, and 52 years ago, I wore her veil at my wedding. I am sure you all have great memories that will make you smile.
RIP my friend…..Glennys Holliday
Sorry to hear of Lynn’s passing. She seemed like a lovely person.
My wife Susan and I grew up in Moose Jaw.
I went to school with a very nice fellow, Doug Macdiarmid, at King Edward School on South Hill for Grades 7 and 8. We would meet at school reunions and have great visits. I have often thought of him over the years, not sure if he was married to Lynn.
My wife’s cousin, Dave Hill, was a firefighter in Moose Jaw.

Sterling, Aaron and families; sending my thoughts and prayers to you and yours in the loss of your Mom. What kind, thoughtful and caring neighbours your Mom and Dad were on Regal. Cherish your memories, Hugz to all……
Lynn, I had the deepest laughs on every visit to Moose Jaw and your visits to Calgary. What a gift you are to everyone you touched. I was gifted to have you as my sister in law. Thank you for the walks, the sisterly advice, the toasts, the tee times, and the spontaneous simple moments.
Our condolences to Sterling, Tahnie, and family, Aaron, Barry, Patti, Debbie and other family members. Darryl and I got to know Doug and Lynn during their time in Dorintosh. They were wonderful friends, and are dearly missed. We will miss the quad rides, getting stuck in the mud and our excursions into the woods to gather the winter’s supply of firewood.
Stirling & Aaron,
our sincere sympathy to you both and to your families. We have many happy memories of times shared with Lynn & Doug during the years in Brier, as you began school days with our kids.
Thinking of you.
Keith & Eleanor Akins
Sterling, Aaron and Family: I am so sorry about the loss of your Mom – she was one of the finest people I have ever known, as was your Dad, and I greatly miss them both. I will always remember your Mom’s smile, her laugh, and her warm and generous nature. She was truly one of a kind. As hard as your Mom’s passing may be at the moment, I hope you will find some comfort in knowing she will always be with you in the memories you shared.
With Sincere Condolences From,
Melissa “Missy” Wallace
