Inez Frances Siggelkow (née: Aspinall)
Inez Frances Siggelkow aged 92 years of Moose Jaw, SK, entered her heavenly home on Sunday, February 5th, 2023. Inez was the youngest daughter of William Aspinall and Ella Aspinall (née: Fox). She had three brothers: Earl, Arthur, and Everton, and two sisters: Ruby and Lyla. The family lived and farmed near Parkman, SK. In 1941, when Inez was 11 years old, the Aspinall family moved to a farm near North Portal, SK. She attended Forbes School and International Bible College. For several years Inez worked as a telephone operator at Weyburn and Estevan, SK where she responded to the “request for number please” many times a day. In 1957 she married the love of her life, Philip (Phil) Siggelkow. Inez and Phil have four children: Brenda (John Mohan), Melvin (Liz), Cheryl (Brent Hart) and Wayne (Bonnie), along with ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; all of whom, adored her. Inez was predeceased by her parents and five siblings. Inez was passionate about her family, as they were priority in her life. She served faithfully alongside her husband Phil in Christian ministry for most of their 65 years of marriage, as a pastor’s wife, cook at IBC, Ladies Ministry Regional President for the Church of God Western Canada, as well as a partner in the many Mexico Mission trips. She was a support person for all of the 20 IBCSA Visionair Bike-a-Thons. Inez was a loving and caring person, with a passion for marginalized and handicapped people. She never complained even though being visually impaired for many years. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Phil, family, and friends, and will be greatly missed. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 10th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Church of God, 50 Hochelaga St E, Moose Jaw, SK with interment taking place in Rosedale Cemetery.
