Dorothy Isabelle Mary Bisskey
Dorothy Isabelle Mary Bisskey, aged 90 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Mary Anne McCarthy; husband, Elwood; son, Andrew; and grandson, Elwood. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Stephen and David (Arlene); grandchildren: Stephanie, Kristin (Kenton), Jeffrey, and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Cayden and Lucas; and sister, Nancy.
Dorothy was a long-time member of Church of Our Lady and was very involved with the CWL and bingos. She worked as a Physiotherapist Aide at the Providence Hospital and then Providence Place. She had many hobbies which included gardening, crafts and cooking.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 10th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in Church of Our Lady, 566 Vaughn St, Moose Jaw, SK. Father Nestor Gregoire will be the presiding celebrant and interment will take place in Sunset Cemetery at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Dorothy’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Unit 26 – 1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9 or a charity of one’s choice. So sorry to read of Dorothy’s passing. We worked with Dorothy for many years at Providence Hospital. She was a great person, always reliable, helpful and upbeat.
